dark l-a-n-g-u-a-g-e

chalk scraped blackboard fingernails
no wind inside - the screeches knot
themselves in plaster casted rune
mythic sways and nods - the dragon
breathing fire and water in cleft

chain linked nightmares pointing
evolution reversing in heat
hands becoming legs again
sweat falling from the cracks
as we growl once more and graze

recalcitrance

sick, job, drunk, escape,
it's all a catastrophied nuance
belch, piss, drunk again
reading Buk with passion
unable to find the back burner

wimp, weak, limp, starch my shirt
picking up where i left off
the money's in the fuckin' bank
times change with unrecognized seasons
months ceased to exist long ago

cut the rags at the bottom
and go to hell - who cares
about the corporate structure
me and you'll be long gone
heart attacks being what they are

a memory cauterized in spurts
that's all it is - something that's
shot up in a symbolistic arm
a cat track trying to find
an alter ego poem

it worked

working my way to art

counterproductive angst
lost love, memory
broken heart in context
of the next fifty years
brooding

a teenaged state of mundane
a road traveled by us all
a dark night in travail
a faded memory floundered
a rut of new significance

remand it as such with pertinent clichés
point "A" to point "BE"
the a priori synthetic
they called it in philosophy class so long ago
